„Comprehensive project for development of sustainable tourism  in Pleven region” was developed and submitted by expert of Pleven municipality for approval as per Operative program „Regional development”. The total amount of the project is 5 189 000 BGN, 778 350 own contribution of the institution.

...municipality through providing of cultural-economic programs in combination with specific and attractive tourist services in new undeveloped tourist region.
Te activities of the project envisage:
- improvement of  adjacent terrains, construction of artistic external lightening and restoration of  pedestrian access /staircases and resting  places/to the Late Ancient Roman fortress „Storgozia” in recreation park  „Кaylaka”;
-furnishing of observation  site on the roof of Panorama  „Pleven epopeeе 1877 ”, construction of external panoramic lift, replacement of air conditioning and improve the structure  in the area;
- Restoration and conservation of  the historical stone bridge  on Vit River at Yasen village and separation of pedestrian zone, improvement of adjacent terrain  and place for  demonstration of the latest battle for Pleven liberation, restoration of the Monument of victory  and artistic external lightening of the both sites;
- Construction of  rock complex – renovation of guest house in cave   „Gortalovo” of the natural site  – locality Chernelka, separation of Information – customer’s center, cave ritual hall for   vital records activities, bicycle route path, parallel to existing  eco-path of health – from Gortalovo village to Kartozhabene village, restoration operations of the Rock monastery, locality Split Stone, Tzareva hole, Kapchuka and ancient Roman road in the area, clean-up of Chernelka river;
- modernization of the municipal facilities of accommodation  „Storgozia” by establishment of information-customer center with exposition hall to present tourist attractions, products and services.
