The Municipality of Pleven web cam entered the Top 10 of www.earthcam.com - one of the largest world webcam portals. The Top 10 Webcams are chosen by a panel of EarthCam producers who select the best out of hundreds of popular webcam submissions. The criteria used for judging includes image quality, uniqueness of the content, and overall technical achievement in webcam technology. These are the cameras that have amused, amazed, or astounded us. The other nominations are the webcams of Paris , London, Stockholm, and Chicago. Students from different high schools of the Central Administrative Region of Moscow met with the Mayor Nayden Zelenogorski, his deputy Valentin Mateev and Mrs. Ralitsa Veselinova-Director of Education and Culture Directorate.
The Russian group visits Pleven under the Contract for cooperation in the field of education, signed between Pleven and the Central Administrative Region of Moscow, which has been in to force for six years now.

Conformation for the development of hypermarket from the METRO chain in Pleven in period of five months, declared in his letter to the Mayor of Pleven Nayden Zelenogorski, the Regional Manager for Europe and member of the Council of Managers of METRO Cash and Carry International, Mr. Emilian Abadjiev.
The world chain will not only open approximately 300 jobs in our town but will stimulate the local producers by including them in the suppliers list.
METRO is known as one of the most solid tax payers, famous with the social policy not only towards its employees but towards social projects. Mr. Abadjiev expressed in the letter, his gratitude to the Mayor and his team for the support provided as well as he stated his wish for future cooperation.

The information provided and the declared wish for cooperation by the Municipality of Pleven regarding the Green Fuel investment intentions in the region of Pleven will be most useful to us, said in his letter to the Mayor Zelenogorski the President of the company Mr. Hose Luis del Val Kob.
The company, aiming at stability will use the suggestion of the mayor’s administration to choose the appropriate terrain for construction of the plants for sunflower oil and bio diesel.
The Spanish investors work actively on the project and at the next meeting in the Municipality of Pleven will specify their intentions, said in his letter the President of Green Fuel.
